Two more reds.

Another two red belt gradings this month. Caoimhe graded to red belt and James graded to black tag, the last grading he can take here in our Dojang.

It is very exciting to see students enter this last phase of training before the black belt, and all of a sudden one year seems like a very short time to get the necessary training completed. Hard work, dedication and continuous forward motion will do the trick though, as it always does.

New classes for 5-8 year olds.

Starting from Tuesday the 17th of September we will have new classes dedicated to instructing 5 to 8 year olds. The new time will, hopefully, better suit the evening schedules for our younger members and their parents, and also allow the older kids class to run more smoothly.
Our current members in that age bracket can continue attending their regular classes, or switch to the new times if it suits.

If you have a child aged between 5 and 8 and would like them to begin training in our martial art, please contact me through the inquiry form to the right ->
or on 0872474488 (Stuart).

Timetable and fees can be found here.

His last MMA fight was over in short order, with MR.Dargan scoring a 1st round knockout. More of the same to come, hopefully...

Success via dedication

I'm a little late, as usual, with this one.
Our last grading saw Mark and Aoife promoted to red belt. Both of these guys started Taekwon-Do here in this dojang three years ago, and this is the result of the continuous and dedicated work they have put in since the beginning.

If you commit to working hard, and you persevere, you will get better, and your achievement will be recognised. This is the whole point of the belt system, and students like this validate the system when they show their quality.

We are now looking at the INTA winter black belt grading 2014, and I have no doubt that they will both impress.
